HAVING VARIOUS OTHER NAMES WHY IS INDIA, AN OFFICIAL NAME OF OUR COUNTY? 

As we all know that India is a great country with very lovely people. 

India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world with a rich cultural heritage. It has achieved all-round socio-economic progress since Independence.

As the 7th largest country in the world, India stands apart from the rest of Asia. 

which gave the country a distinct geographical entity. Bounded by the Great Himalayan in the north, it stretches southwards and at the Tropic of Cancer, tapers off into the Indian Ocean between the Bay of Bengal on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west.

Do u know India has various names viz Hodu, Tianzhu, Nabhivarsha, Tambudvipa, Arya Varta, Bharat, Hindustan, India?

HOW INDIA NAMED

In the inception, in the 17th century, the name Indian got familiar among the foreigners. Hence, it has proceeded with it. Along with, 

The name 'India' is derived from the River Indus, the valleys around which were the home of the early settlers. The Aryan worshippers referred to the river Indus as the Sindhu. 

On the other hand, some believe that India got its name from the history of Puranas.

HOW BHARAT NAMED. 

According to the Maha-bharata epic, the story states that India was called Bharat Varsha. Which king named after bhagat Chakraborty Bharata was a legendary emperor and founder of the Bharat dynasty and Pandavas and Kauravas.

Bharat had enshrined the civilization of cultural richness and glory of kingdoms to the breadth and length of the globe. 

HOW IS HINDUSTAN NAMED

Hindu is Persian for Sindhu, the name for the Indus river in ancient Sanskrit. Hindustan is the land beyond the industry. 

There were conflicts about the name of our country as, 

when the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in 2003 demanded India's name to be changed to Hindustan. 

Hindustan has originated around the time when the concept of two-nation theories was introduced as Pakistan and other was Hindustan. 

As I mentioned earlier, India has various names viz Hodu, Tianzhu, Nabhivarsha, Tambudvipa, Arya Varta, Bharat, Hindustan, India.

These are named based on various factors at that time. 

Which most familiar are Hindustan, Bharat, and India.

To know you need to refer to historic events in history. 

In the constituent assembly which met in Delhi on 9th December 1946 to conduct its negotiations on 26th November 1949 in between these discussions, a diplomatic question was raised by Rajendra prasad and a few of his colleagues, that the name of our country should be Bharat and not India in the constitution. 

Jawaharlal Nehru figured that internationally India would lose all its benefits of inheritance honor, dignity in viz of UN body number ships. 

Nehru told Rajendra prasad and others in a meeting 

"I don't want to put India in an absurd position internationally."

Finally, he had said that he had no objection to mention somewhere in the constitution of India that is Bharat. 

Mention as follows, 

“Often, as I wandered from meeting to meeting, I spoke to my audiences of this India of ours, of Hindustan and Bharata, the old Sanskrit name derived from the mythical founders of the race.”

These words were written by Pandit in his book MY discovery of India. 

So in all doing all this the country will avoid unnecessarily taking fresh membership globally.  

In the preface of the Indian constitution, it describes that India that is Bharat should be a union of states.

Our country should have two names one India it should associate with foreigners. 

Due to this, the constitution assembly has drafted, Article 1 in the Constitution states that India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States. which says that Bharat should be a union of states.Bharat can't exist without India

Bharat was considered a native name as it was found in ancient transcript literature henceforth no other names came besides these two names. These should be used legally. 

Whatever it might be the name of our country, we should respect our country and we should have patriotism towards our nation-building.
